A wonderful evening was shared by all at the pool side of Dr. Ronald Lu, FAIA, and his wife Stella. Ron graciously opened up his home for AIA and AIA Associate Members to enjoy a delicious gourmet BBQ. He also donated the wines and other beverages for the event. Our Guest of Honor, visiting from Texas, was Elizabeth Chu Richter, FAIA, Vice President / President-elect 2015 for AIA National. Elizabeth will be the first Hong Kong-born president of the AIA. She was accompanied by her daughter Elissa Richter, AIA, and her sister, Anna Chu. The evening was very relaxed and provided an excellent opportunity for old and new members to meet and catch up with each other in a casual setting.
