Oncology Department
When the Oncology Department was relocated, the Interior Designers were confronted with a forest of off-grid columns, low ceilings and limited views to the exterior. The end result, however, is a stunning interplay of space and natural light which lifts the spirit of all who visit this critical-care facility.

The materials here are all highly durable and very easy to clean. They include stone and vinyl flooring, Corian and plastic laminate work surfaces, timber and vinyl wall cladding and glass walls/vertical louvres to delineate areas and public versus private spaces. Lighting is indirect and is used to soften what could otherwise have become a harsh, clinical environment where patients must endure lengthy treatments on their road to recovery.
