Award: Honor Award for Urban Design (AIA Hong Kong Associate Award)

In response to the approved URA’s scheme, this Application was submitted as an alternative proposal for the sustainable upgrading and regeneration of the Graham Street Market area. Retaining large parts of the Graham Street Market, existing buildings will be upgraded or redeveloped within the existing building envelop. The proposal promotes the revitalization of the street market by ensuring the space and services required are available for such activities. This project seeks to maintain the heart of the historic market and upgrade it in a sensitive way which will benefit both the local community and the Hong Kong public at large.
