Please join us for an exclusive building tour of Morpheus designed by the late Dame Zaha Hadid, DBE sponsored by City of Dreams.
Morpheus, the new flagship hotel in the City of Dreams complex, is another striking “world’s first” contribution to Macau by Melco. It promises to deliver the very best to its guests as it redefines high-end hospitality with stunning guest rooms and villas, exquisite dining, leisure and entertainment facilities.
Inspired by jade artifacts, Morpheus is the world’s first free-form, exoskeleton, high-rise architectural structure which incorporates a number of architectural and technological breakthroughs. A series of voids gives it complexity and volume, a unique appearance as well as exciting internal spaces. Its two towers are connected at the podium levels and at the roof, with two additional bridges for guests to experience the external voids within the building. An exoskeleton mesh structure embracing its reinforced concrete core emphasizes its volume. Visually intriguing, the structure gives the building lateral stability and minimizes internal structural requirements for an optimum interior layout.
Neatly integrated with the external fabric, the Porte Cochère is in seamless harmony with the monolithic façade of the building. Vertically, the atrium is split into two cores and the east and west side connect to the accommodation floors and additional VIP gaming areas. Riding in the panoramic lifts, guests are guaranteed magnificent views of the atrium and the captivating voids. Morpheus consists of 772 hotel rooms on the higher floors, complemented by guest facilities including specialty restaurants, an executive lounge, a sky pool and VIP gaming and villas.
The tour will be led by City of Dreams Design Team.
This event will be our first overseas building tour for 2018 and, as only very limited space is available, early registration is strongly recommended.
