The Seminar:

The HÅG Capisco chair, winner of a Red Dot Design Award, redefines and challenges the way we traditionally think about  task chairs. This modern classic was developed hand-in-hand with the growing trend towards alternative workplace environments and helped usher in a new age of ergonomics. Originally conceived 30 years ago and updated in 2012, the chair promotes improved posture and, ultimately, increased productivity.  Scandinavian company HÅG sell many chairs that are  good for the body and will show a range of products at this seminar, with demonstrations of “how to sit in a better position.”

The Speaker:

Michael Brisbane is Managing Director of Scandinavian Business Seating, Asia Pacific.  Originally from London, he has been based in Norway for the last 10 years. Mike has travelled the world world with many companies to gain a better understanding of how the humble office chair can have an impact on our work, our health and even on company profits.  He has worked with clients in Europe, the UK, the USA and now Asia, sharing his experience of SBSeating’s “observational” design process and how it has changed the industry’s perspective on seating ergonomics.
