Please join us for our YAG Networking Series – Growing Up Building Tour, when we will experience the winning design in the first Hong Kong Young Architects & Designers Competition by our members, Paul Tse, AIA, and Evelyn Ting, Assoc. AIA, of New Office Works.

Located on the West Kowloon waterfront promenade, Growing Up offers stunning harbor and sunset views as well as a space for leisure, relaxation and small-scale events in a timber pavilion that won out over 320 submissions judged by an expert panel of local and international jurors.

We encourage you to join us with your family and friends for this early evening event on September 21 (Saturday).  Please RSVP by September 19 (Thursday) and, if you have any questions, contact the Chapter office at rsvp@aiahk.org

Priority will be given to AIA members and attendees will receive 2 AIA HSW/LUs.

We look forward to seeing you there!

NEW OFFICE WORKS (Founders: Paul Tse, AIA, and Evelyn Ting, Assoc. AIA)
NEW OFFICE WORKS (NOW) is an architectural practice based in Hong Kong. The firm works across all scales, from architecture and art installations to writing and exhibitions. Its approach to design is to build upon the vocabulary accumulated “then” while satisfying the needs and desires of “now.”
NOW received 1st prize in the inaugural Hong Kong Young Architects & Designers Competition and 2nd prize in the Busan (Korea) Opera House Competition.
THEN is a separate division devoted to writing and research on architecture and the city. It extrapolates architectural knowledge from ancient traditions and contemporary urban life and has received two Design Trust Seed Grants for a video series on the everyday elements of Hong Kong architecture.
