AIA Hong Kong

John Sellery, FAIA, Newest Fellow of The American Institute of Architects

It is with great pleasure that AIA Hong Kong announces the elevation of Mr John Sellery to Fellow of the Institute (FAIA). He will be inducted into the College of Fellows at an investiture ceremony on June 21 during this year’s AIA Conference in New York City.

John has dedicated his career to transforming the role of the architect. With the experience and integrity of a master builder, he champions a collaborative approach that expands architectural leadership into all phases of the project. From preliminary program definition to scope development, this trans-disciplinary design leads the entire construction process. John’s architect-led design-build methodology ensures that clients’ visions are achieved while maintaining the highest ideals of the institute and of our profession.

The AIA Fellowship program was developed to elevate architects who have made significant contributions to architecture and society and who have achieved a standard of excellence in the profession. Election to Fellowship not only recognizes the achievements of the architect as an individual, but also honors the awardee on a national, or international, level. The AIA College of Fellows seeks to stimulate a sharing of interests among Fellows and encourages them to promote the purposes of the Institute, advance the profession of architecture, mentor young architects, and be of ever-increasing service to society.

Please join the Chapter in congratulating John Sellery, FAIA, on this honor and on his continued success as an architect.
