Currently, AIA Hong Kong has approximately 250 members under the following membership categories:

Architect Members
 •  Architects currently licensed to practice architecture in the U.S.

International Associate Members
 •  Holder of an architecture license from a non U.S. licensing authority.

Associate Members
Meeting one of the following:
 •  Interns participating in career responsibilities towards licensure
 •  Work under the supervision of an architect in a professional or technical capacity
 •  Faculty member in a university program in architecture
 •  Holder of a professional degree in architecture

Student Members
Students currently enrolled in an a university or college level program in architecture.

Individual Affiliate Members
Professionals in allied fields such as engineering, landscape architecture, interior design, etc.

Corporate Affiliate Members
Companies involved in the construction industry such as contractors and suppliers.

Non-Local / Supplementary Members
Existing AIA Members residing outside Hong Kong, China or the Asia Pacific Region (excluding Japan) may join the AIA Hong Kong as a Non-local or second chapter to supplement there existing membership.
