3rd Quarterly at the Hullett House (Old Marine Police HQ) in Tsim Sha Tsui

AIA members started off this fall with a festive Quarterly at Hullett House. David Yeo, Owner of Aqua Group and visionary for Hullett House, saved the old Marine Police HQ by retrofitting it into a boutique luxury hotel experience. We were grateful to have David join us to share his concept & experiences in renovating and building Hullett House.  David envisioned a building that commemorated and bridged the gap between old and new Hong Kong.

Many of your friends including J Lee Rofkind (the new President for AIA Hong Kong!), Christine Bruckner (Who recently has taken on a role as Director for AIA Hong Kong), Tom Schimdt, Bernard Chang (VP interim for AIA Hong Kong), Dr. Sujata Govada, Kenneth Hau, Anderson Lee and more were present to show support to The Chapter. The meeting took place at the Mariner’s Rest (where they still have a few intact prison cells!)

and included guided tours through various parts of the establishment, explaining its history and significance every inch of the way. The event went through till the late hours of the evening; Too bad if you weren’t able to come, it was really a splendid evening. Overall, a great start to AIA Hong Kong’s new presidency.
Hope to see you all next time!
