AIA Hong Kong

YAG Architectural Sketching with Students, Asia Society

At this event YAG will be working with two groups of special needs children. We will tour the Asia Society Hong Kong Center on November 17th (Saturday) with Architecture for Children and JFK Red Cross (a group of physically disabled children students: 10-12 years, 10 people, need help with wheelchairs) and Tai Kwun with SCAD and Rotary Club of Hong Kong Island West Hong Chi Morninghope School on December 10th (Monday) together with each project’s design architects. We will explain our professions to the children and help them make architectural sketches at both heritage sites.

These events are FREE with 2LUs and we ask that you join us, with your sketching supplies, to help our Chapter SERVE and ENGAGE with the local communities!

The visit to Asia Society will also include a training course (in Cantonese) for those wishing to become tour guides.  Please RSVP via rsvp@aiahk.org
