International Conference on Heritage Conservation 2013 “Latest Movements in Heritage Conservation: Global Vision and Local Outlook”

This conference will be held on 29 – 30 November 2013

Commissioner for Heritage Office, Development Bureau of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Architectural Conservation Programmes, Department of Architecture, The University of Hong Kong

Objective :

The conference provides an opportunity for international exchange of insights experience among esteemed heritage conservation professionals from both the public and private sectors. The conference will focus on heritage conservation as an integral theme, with historic urban landscape, experiences in the conservation of privately-owned historic buildings and traditional and innovative tools of urban conservation practice featured in separate sessions.

Target: Our target participants are principally local professionals and academics in the heritage

Participants:
conservation and related fields, such as architecture, urban planning, landscape architecture, construction, urban design, etc. We will also reach out to Mainland and overseas participants involved in the conservation of built heritage.
