AIA Hong Kong

Important Announcement + Design OpportunityThe new AIA Hong Kong Chapter Office

The AIA Hong Kong Chapter will soon be relocating to a new office space at the former Police Married Quarters (PMQ) on Hollywood Road at Aberdeen Street. This iconic 1950s building has been designated by the Hong Kong Government to be a new hub for creative industries and mandated to promote the best of Hong Kong design and innovation.  We are very pleased that we will soon become a part of this artistic community which is centrally located and will allow us to be more visible, publicly accessible and therefore better serve our members.
To ensure that our new office reflects the core values of the American Institute of Architects including:  sustainability, creativity and collaboration, we have organized a PMQ Building Committee to implement the planning and design of our new space. The first meeting will be on Tuesday, March 18 at 6:30pm, at the office of BUZ Design, 410 Des Vouex Road West, 7/F Pacific Plaza, Shek Tong Tsui (Western District), HK.  If you are interested in participating, please join us at our kick off meeting next Tuesday.  Kindly RSVP your attendance at either of the e-mails below.   Note:  we are also seeking donations of building materials and furnishings from our Corporate Affiliates that can be incorporated into the design of the new office.

For more information, please contact the Chapter office: info@aia.org  or  J Lee Rofkind at  jrofkind@buzdesign.biz
