Evolution
Multifunctional Concert Hall “Jordanki” in Torun
At this point in the journey of Menis Arquitectos, we could say that there are two inescapable references for understanding the evolution of the studio and even of my own personal evolution: the passion for manual labour, as craft, which permeates every project, and the interest in the spirit of the place where it belongs.
Thereafter molding each object, as an organ that rises from the site itself, has helped us discover a more free and artistic architecture, but also allowed us to approach the subject in a process of ongoing review and confrontation with technology: a comprehensive dialogue with the environment of the project which ensures its proper insertion.
Over the years, we have developed a very particular way of addressing the project at our office, This process is based on two pillars that support the project in an ongoing mutual dialogue, reason and emotion. Common sense in dealing with raw materials and their true potential in the context where it is inserted is the framework within which reason and emotion are combined.
The Multifunctional Concert Hall “Jordanki” in Torun is an example of the result of the evolution of Menis Arquitectos. Where, with a multidisciplinary team, are trying to get and capture our knowledge of a professional career.
