Honorary Affiliate Membership was awarded to Christopher Law, RIBA HKIA Hon. AIA (HK) and Scholastic Prizes were given to Ms. Cui Yujing of The University of Hong Kong and Ms. Wu Shuqin of The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

On the same evening, we welcomed our newly elected Executive Committee (EXCO) for 2014.  Serving as our Chapter President will be Christian Low, AIA, who has given me much valuable support throughout this year. Also please join me in welcoming our new Vice-President for 2014, Sujata Govada, Assoc. AIA, LEED AP, Secretary Christine Lampert, AIA, and Treasurer, for a second consecutive term, Rex Wong, AIA.

On November 22nd, we will have a members only barbeque at our past-President Ronald Lu’s home, kindly organized by Kim Wang, AIA.  Our thanks to both Ron and to Kim, who, together with Winston Lam, also lead a wonderful tour of buildings by Rocco Design, Zaha Hadid and Arquitectonica in Guangzhou last month.

I look forward to seeing you at our upcoming gatherings.

Sincerely,

William Lim, FAIA
2013 President, AIA Hong Kong
