Dear Friends of AIA Hong Kong

You are cordially invited to join us at The American Institute of Architects Hong Kong Chapter 2023 Honors & Awards Opening Ceremony on Monday, December 4, 2023, 6:30 PM, at The Rotunda, Exchange Square.

The annual Honors & Awards event is one of the highlights of the year for AIA Hong Kong members and we would be honored if you would join the celebration. Awards will be presented for excellence in design, planning, sustainability, and dedication to the conservation and improvement of our built environment.

This year, we introduced a new Open International category to celebrate the work of licensed architects who are not yet AIA members. In addition, we will continue two traditions, one that celebrates the emergence of young architects by granting awards for scholastic achievement to graduates of Hong Kong universities who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance, the other to present Community Citations to individuals and organisations who have made significant contributions in promoting the value of architecture in society and fostering public awareness of issues related to the built environment.

In conjunction with our focus on sustainable design and development, we are delighted to announce that Dr. Cheung Tin-cheung, SBS, Chairman of the Hong Kong Green Building Council, will be our distinguished Guest of Honor.

Note that all projects submitted in the Architecture, Interiors, Urban Design, Open International, and Unbuilt projects categories will be on display from December 5 – 14 at The Rotunda.
