AIA Hong Kong 30th Anniversary Logo Design Competition

Celebrating 30 Years of AIA Hong Kong

In 2027, the AIA Hong Kong Chapter will celebrate its 30th anniversary!

To celebrate this milestone, AIA Hong Kong invites members of its architectural community to participate in the 30th Anniversary Logo Design Competition, organized in collaboration with the AIA Hong Kong Young Architects Group (YAG).

The competition seeks to create a distinctive visual identity for this important occasion while bringing together different generations of the Chapter through design, dialogue, and collaboration.

Participants are encouraged to look beyond a conventional commemorative logo and explore ideas that reflect the Chapter’s past, present, and future, its connection to Hong Kong’s architectural community, and its role within the wider AIA network.

Competition Categories

Category A — Mentor + Mentee Team
Open to teams formed by participants in the AIA Hong Kong YAG Mentorship Program. Each team must include at least one registered YAG Mentee and one YAG Mentor.

Category B — AIA Hong Kong Members
Open to eligible AIA Hong Kong members (Architect, Associate, International Associate, Individual Affiliate, Non-local, and Student Members), participating individually or as a team.

Awards and Recognition

One winning proposal may be selected from each category.

Selected entrants may be invited to collaborate with the AIA Hong Kong organizing committee and Executive Committee to further develop the official 30th anniversary identity.

Winning proposals will be recognized at the AIA Hong Kong Year-End Party on December 11, 2026, with opportunities for further recognition through Chapter publications, exhibitions, and anniversary-related activities.

Important Dates
Submission deadline: Wednesday, December 2, 2026, at 11:59 PM (HKT)
Announcement of results: Friday, December 11, 2026 at the AIA Hong Kong Year-End Celebration

Submission Requirements
Entries should include a logo proposal, a design statement of no more than 200 words, and supporting material presented in A4 landscape PDF format.
