Since reopening in 2020, the Hong Kong Museum of Art has welcomed the public to witness its contemporary new space and carefully designed architectural details. The renovation and expansion thoroughly enriches the art scene in Hong Kong.
For this Building Tour we are delighted to have Ms. Vivien Fung, Senior Architect from the Architectural Services Department lead us through the new space on September 18th, from 9:30am.

Tour Leader’s Profile
Senior Architect, Architectural Services Department (ArchSD)
Vivien Fung joined the Architectural Services Department (ArchSD) of the HKSAR Government in 1998 and is now a Senior Architect. She has more than 20 years of experience on projects ranging from healthcare, cultural and civic designs to transit infrastructure at a wide range of scales. Notable projects include the Expansion and Renovation of the Hong Kong Museum of Art, the Tseung Kwan O Complex cum Sports Centre, the Renovation of the Austin Subway Station adjoining Xiqu Centre and The Rehabilitation Block at Tuen Mun Hospital.
Her expertise includes design leadership, project execution, programme and cost management, as well as construction administration. Vivien is committed to the realization of architectural excellence based on keen attention to technical detail.
