The Green Happy Hour aims to unite stakeholders in the building industry to work towards sustainable design and net zero carbon emission goals. By fostering collaboration between green material suppliers, transportation, finance, and tech service providers, the initiative encourages participants to think creatively and to integrate their efforts for the good of the environment. During this event, Jonathan Horsfall, Director APAC, will discuss Kvadrat’s commitment to the Paris Agreement, to meeting SBTi (Science Based Targets Initiative) and the approach his company has taken to tackling climate change by virtue of both its products and its company policies. The discussion will focus on the steps taken to drive the business towards Net Zero and our common commitment to lower-emission buildings – which is essential for meeting the decarbonization goals set out in the Paris Agreement.

About the Speaker

Jonathan Horsfall, Director APAC, Kvadrat

Trained as an architect at the Bartlett school of Architecture in the UK, Jonathan has 15 years’ experience working in Asia in the construction and building materials businesses. Over the past 10 years he has built up Kvadrat Acoustics from nothing to now having direct sales offices in 6 countries, with sales distribution platforms across 12 countries. Five years ago Jonathan was instrumental in setting up a manufacturing facility in Hangzhou in order to improve the timely distribution of finished products throughout the APAC region.
