Please join us for ArtHouse Tai Hang to celebrate Hong Kong Art Month.
ArtHouse Tai Hang is a new festival that celebrates an international array of creative artists in a unique Hong Kong neighborhood. Featuring more than 50 artists with works spread across ten houses, we will unlock a different side of this historic area – already renowned for its annual Fire Dragon Dance – now a place where contemporary art meets the soul of Hong Kong.
With a planning strategy and spatial design by Su Chang Design Research Office, ArtHouse Tai Hang activates vacant shops into a carefully choreographed dialogue between art and the city.
The Evening Art Walk will be led by Jacky Ho, Founder of ArtHouse Tai Hang, and Su Chang, AIA, Principal of Su Chang Design Research Office. Su Chang will explain the design concept and planning strategy of the project and how the event interweaves urban histories, vacant shops, public space, and the arts.
Participating members and guests are welcome to join a light refreshment session in Tai Hang after the event. Beverages will be on a pay-as-you-go basis.
