Dear Members,

We are pleased to announce that a tour of the Far East Façade (FEF) fabrication plant in Zhuhai has been arranged for this weekend. The visit will offer an opportunity to learn about the latest curtain wall technology, including robotic-arm panel assembly of 3D facade panels and prototype mock-ups of double curved units. Participants will also learn about the company’s sustainablity initiatives and the facade fabrication process.

FEF was founded in 1969, in Hong Kong, and was incorporated in 1977 as Far East Aluminium Works Company Limited. The company has since grown extensively, from a small aluminium window contractor to a multinational enterprise. Notable projects completed by FEF include the world’s tallest tower, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, and the Shanghai IFC, among other prominent landmarks.

FEF is currently working on a number of exciting new projects, including The Henderson in Central.
