This course will examine LED task and ambient lighting in the contemporary workplace. It will review LED technology, the new advancements that are benefitting office lighting design, the lighting requirements of the modern workplace, and how LED lighting serves these spaces.
Taking Light to Task
The discussion of task light lighting will help you to understand:
– the historic use of task lighting and how this has changed over time
– specific lighting requirements for task based work
– lighting standards and the criteria that impact task lighting standards
– the considerations leading to various lighting specifications
– the growing concern for workplace wellbeing and how lighting is involved
