Please join us for our YAG Networking Series – Emerging Architects: It’s a Business Too! with Avoid Obvious Architects, COLLECTIVE and TheeAe LTD.  This event is free but please RSVP by 27/7 (Friday).  Walk-in guests will be charged HK$100.
While the challenges of pursuing a career in architecture may be daunting – from the amount of education required, the length of an internship, licensure and exams, and the need to gain practical experience – the challenges of starting your own practice can be even more terrifying! To help demystify the process of how several young architects have started their own businesses, this AIA Hong Kong Young Architects Group presentation will feature three practitioners who will discuss the process they went through and the unique challenges they faced.
The founders of Avoid Obvious Architects, COLLECTIVE, and TheeAe LTD. will each spend 15 minutes on the ‘whys and hows’ of forming their own studios – and what they are doing to sustain them and continue their growth. The presentations will be followed by a Q&A session that promises to be interesting.
Refreshments sponsored by Noble House Development.
