Dear Members
Adverse climate conditions, resource depletion, rising energy costs and pollution of our rivers, streams and seas are just some of the critical challenges we face today. By integrating environmental considerations into our business practices, we can strive for sustainable development and begin to mitigate the negative impacts mankind has caused to the planet.
Jointly organized with AECOM, this event will convene policy-makers, real estate developers, design professionals and academics from around the region, all of whom are helping to drive these changes.
We are honored to have Dr. Samuel Chui, JP, (Environmental Protection Department); Dr. Sun Yimin (South China University of Technology); Dr. Raymond Yau (Swire Properties); and Mr Lenren Lee, AIA (AECOM) joining this event.
The symposium will be held in-person and the Keynote Speakers will explore the critical steps necessary across Hong Kong and the GBA to achieve more sustainable development – and how collaboration, strategic interventions and government legislation can improve how we live and work in our cities and communities.
The symposium will be moderated by Dr. Christine Bruckner, FAIA (M Moser).
Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held prior to the symposium and members are strongly encouraged to attend. The meeting agenda will include a Chapter Report by the President, a Financial Report by the Treasurer and the Chapter Election for 2024 Executive Council (EXCO) Members.
Registration for the AGM will be open from 9:30 AM for a 10:00 start. Light refreshments will be served.
A reminder that this is an in-person event!
Please register HERE.
