Guest Speaker

Ir Dr. Hui Chun Man, Sam
Ir Dr. Sam Hui is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at The University of Hong Kong. He is a Chartered Building Services Engineer (CEng), a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), a Building Energy Modeling Professional (BEMP) and a High-Performance Building Design Professional (HBDP). Sam has extensive teaching and research experience in MEP engineering and more than 33 years of experience in the study of building energy efficiency and sustainable building technology. His current research includes building information modelling (BIM), building energy performance, sustainable building design, green roof systems and zero/low carbon building design.

Winnie Lo, AIA

Winnie Lo is a registered Architect in New York State. She completed her ARE and AXP requirements in late 2021 and moved back to Hong Kong in 2022 where she is currently serving as the Chapter’s ARE Study Group Lead.
