While insurance in some form is mandatory for all businesses in Hong Kong, this seminar will focus on which insurance types relate specifically to architectural and design practices. For example, many AIA members and firm owners are from the US, or represent their firms as expatriate staff from the US working in a branch office in Hong Kong. What are the special rules and regulations that you need to know? How do you best protect personal assets in the event of claims or lawsuits? Professional advice on current requirements for Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF), Employees’ Compensation and Professional Indemnity Insurance, among other topics, will be covered in this seminar, followed by Q&A to address your individual insurance concerns.
