Dear Members
Designed by Architecture Commons, the newly completed Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups (HKFYG) Jockey Club Stanley Outdoor Training Centre (SOTC) occupies a prime location in Stanley-Ma Hang Bay with panoramic views from the ocean on the west to Stanley Market on the East. The building form maximizes views while minimizing impact on its neighbors, and features a perforated metal panel system for climbing plants on the exterior. The interior comprises a series of activity zones that extend from the ground floor to the roof, creating one continuous communal space. This tour will be led by Rick Lam, AIA, the SOTC design architect.
