Vicky Chan AIA
Founder of Vicky Chan + Partners
Vicky is a US-registered architect with extensive experience in non-profit and community initiatives. His firm, Vicky Chan + Partners, has completed projects that impact 500,000 people annually and is currently active in three countries. Working within constrained budgets and timelines, Vicky understands the importance of cash flow and how to maintain an international presence through the ups and downs of business cycles.
Paul Gardner
Founder of Fresh Accounting
Paul is a Chartered Management Accountant who has extensive experience with established SMEs as well as with young start-ups. From the age of 18 he has worked with businesses and industries of all types and sizes, and currently manages Fresh Accounting across three countries. Paul understands the importance of developing and managing relationships and has a proven track record of implementing and maintaining accounting systems and processes.

Tatum Lau Assoc. AIA
Co-founder and CEO, Nectere Partners
Tatum is an architect, urban designer, and strategist driven by a passion to create human-centric spaces that bring people together and express a city’s identity. Believing that “a city is its people,” she integrates creative placemaking, architecture, and socio-economic development to enhance the built environment. As an emerging entrepreneur, Tatum will bring a fresh view to moderating this discussion, as she is eager to draw out insights from the two panelists about their own entrepreneurial journeys.
She received her B.Arch at Cornell University and her M.Arch in Urban Design, with a concentration in Real Estate, at the Harvard GSD. Tatum gained international experience at KPF, New York, and the Oval Partnership in Hong Kong. She currently serves as Co-Chair of the ULI Hong Kong Young Leaders Group Committee, and as a Board Director of both the Harvard and Cornell Clubs of Hong Kong.
