We are delighted to announce an exclusive event: we invite you to join us for a guided tour of both the Bank of China Tower and the Bank of China Building.

Designed by the esteemed architect I.M. Pei, the Bank of China Tower has become an integral part of Hong Kong’s iconic skyline. Meanwhile, the nearby Bank of China Building continues to exude the architectural charm of the 1950s. While most of us have long admired these buildings from the outside, this event offers a unique opportunity to explore their breathtaking interiors as well as the majestic crown at the top of BOC Tower.

Architect Sherman Kung, AIA, who worked closely with I.M. Pei on BOC Tower will lead the tour on October 7th and provide valuable insights into the rich history and architectural significance of both buildings. Please note that attendance is limited to 30 guests to ensure an intimate and immersive experience.

Sherman Kung, AIA, HKIA, ARCUK, PRC Class 1 Registered Architect, Authorized Person

Sherman is the Managing Director and Founder of Sherman Kung & Associates Architects. He started practicing in the US in the 1960s when he first met I.M. Pei. After about 10 years with Richard Meier & Partners, he moved to Hong Kong in the late 1970s. He was subsequently invited by Mr. Pei to be the local architect and Authorized Person for the Bank of China Tower.

Sherman was the President of the AIA Hong Kong Chapter in 1999. He has won numerous awards throughout his career, including both AIA Hong Kong and HKIA Design Awards for the He Xiangning Art Gallery and an AIA Reynolds Memorial Award for the Bank of China Tower.
