Have you ever thought about how to use Building Information Modeling (BIM) to optimize the value of your designs through evidence-based business decision making, performance metrics, best practice processes, sustainability, and appropriate technologies?
In this webinar, a panel of BIM experts from Hong Kong and San Francisco will share with us the benefits of BIM applications in their presentation titled From Digitalization to Effective Collaboration – Building Value in the Built Environment. They will cover a host of topics including Digital Practice Journey and Maturity, 4D Phase Planning, Collaboration Science, Building Consensus and Digital Twin with open BIM and open GIS.
This event will be moderated by AIA Hong Kong member and BIM expert Martin Riese, AIA.
Date: March 3, 2022 (Thursday)
Time: 12:00 – 1:30 PM (HKT)
CES: 1.5 LUs
Lesson learned from the webinar:
• Our intuitions are usually defensive and tend to reject ideas. Overcome your mental barriers and have the Plus/delta mindset – learn to see the strength and positive side of an idea.
• Consensus is key to collaboration
• Strong teammates make strong team
• Think big, start small, Act now!
