Seeing, perceiving, imagining and rendering. Architecture begins with observation, inspiration, a dot and a line, sketches and analysis that become future buildings and future cities. Volunteers from the AIA will join design students from Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) as well as local primary school students to mentor and lead a “draw the city” workshop in an exploration of architectural seeing and sketching.

Additional Notes: Outdoor event – dress appropriately. In case of inclement weather, we will seek nearby shelter. All participants should bring their own drawing materials.
