Nestled in the heart of bustling Kowloon lies a sanctuary beneath whispering trees — The Kadoorie Estate. The Estate’s history dates back to 1931, when Hong Kong Engineering & Construction Co. (a firm invested by the Kadoorie family) purchased a barren hillside, transforming it into a garden city. This vision emphasized low-density living, generous green spaces, spacious homes, and architectural integrity, which continue to define the neighborhood today. Kadoorie Estates Limited (KEL), the team behind the Estate, remains devoted to the founders’ vision, ensuring that all efforts are made to maintain the natural habitat, safeguard the harmony between solidity and openness, and carry forward the enduring legacy of this verdant oasis.

Led by Clement Tam, William Du, Eugene Chang, and Maury Wong from KEL, this event provides a unique opportunity to discover the story behind the Estate, followed by a guided tour showcasing some of the private residences in the neighborhood.
